Employment Strategy 2012-2015

Employment Strategy background

The Employment Strategy 2012-2015 follows on from the successful Jobs NT 2010-2012 employment strategy.

The Territory Government undertook a discussion period to give Territorians the opportunity to have their say on what the 2012-2015 strategy should focus on. Discussions were targeted at five key areas:

  1. workforce planning and development
  2. skilling the workforce
  3. Indigenous employment participation
  4. migration
  5. business and industry support.

The feedback received helped form the Employment Strategy 2012-2015.
